python-gpgme software package provides python wrapper for the GPGME library (Python 2), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install python-gpgme
python-gpgme is installed in your system.
Make ensure the python-gpgme package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-gpgme *
You will get with python-gpgme package name, version, architecture and description in a table
